Problem Statement/ Solution
Cameroon, as well as many other UN-affiliated developing countries, have greatly benefited from the push towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. However, the fight towards it’s realization still remains a long ride. Many still live in extreme poverty, with limited access to education and deaths from preventable and curable diseases, alongside youth’s involvement in violence, prostitution, theft, e.t.c. as a means of running from their frustrations.
We aim at getting the people actively involved in their growth; why?
- Volunteers who have lived or experienced the problem can best understand it
- Volunteers who understand the problem can best address it
- Volunteers who share the same language and culture as the people are better accepted by the community
- Active Volunteering trains better citizens, it becomes difficult to destroy what you have created.
